Medium-grade Chemical Peels address a range of skin concerns without the downtime of an invasive procedure. Chemical Peels can address your concerns with acne and acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, sunspots, uneven skin tone and texture, melasma, dull skin, and much more. 

Chemical Peel treatments are quick and efficient, making them a great ‘lunchtime treatment’. The total time of treatment is typically 30 minutes. Immediately after your Chemical Peel treatment, you may experience slight redness, which will subside in 24 hours. Chemical Peels are well tolerated and typically there is no discomfort. 

At Uniquely You, we use a special serum after the treatment which soothes the skin and promotes healing. Ingredients in the serum also stimulate collagen production to give you fresher, more youthful skin. Your skin may mildly peel or flake following 5-7 days after your Chemical Peel treatment. 

After the initial redness subsides and your skin goes through the peeling process, you will notice smoother, brighter, and glowy skin which can boost your confidence. Chemical Peels deeply exfoliate your skin, which may cause purging as impurities come to the surface of the skin following the days after your treatment.

In general, not all Chemical Peels are suitable for all skin types, as Fitzpatrick 5 & 6 generally have chemically sensitive skin.
